American Glory's christening follows the August 2023 christening of the series flagship, American Eagle, in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. American Glory will continue her Florida Gulf Coast & Keys cruises through March 2024 and later in November and December. Another sister ship, American Legend, is set to join American Glory later in the year, also offering Florida Gulf Coast & Keys cruises starting in November. American Glory, the second catamaran-type vessel in American Cruise Lines/ACL's fleet of 100-passenger Coastal Cats, was officially christened in Key West, Florida on Jan 15th.

Surprisingly, on November 4, 2019, it was scuttled (deliberately sunk by a contractor company) off Delaware Bay (Delaware River's estuary) approx 28 km (17 mi) off Indian River Bay (south of Cape Henlopen / Delaware State Park). The boat has 3 single cabins, only 1x handicaped cabin (wheelchair-accessible ADA stateroom designed for passengers with disabilities) and no connecting rooms. ACL's American Glory ship has 4 passenger decks and accommodates 54 guests in 27 staterooms (no Suites, 14 Balcony, 13 Oceanview, no Inside) in 6 cabin grades. American Glory has 56 cabins outside facing cabins, the majority with balconies, spanning six categories and located over four decks.

Of those, VS-Veranda is slightly larger than the Standard Balcony, but with a premium/upper-deck location. Most staterooms (48 out of 56 total, or ~85%) feature a private, step-out balcony accessible from the living room via a sliding, floor-ceiling glass door. Cabin balconies are similarly-sized, excluding only Deck 4's suites (Grand and Sky).

Despite the boat's dimensions, all indoor and outdoor areas are spacious and very well designed, all with floor-ceiling windows. Deck 5's SkyLight is a transparent glass-roof that allows natural light into the Vestibule/Atrium. American Glory blends the best qualities of expedition adventure cruising with the refinement, luxury, stability, and land proximity of river cruising. Observation and sitting areas will be available at the bow, while a unique Swim/Activity Platform at the stern of the ship features a tender for local exploration.
A rarity in river cruising, our dedicated single staterooms are 280-square-foot enclaves for the solo traveler. Each room has all the same amenities as our double occupancy staterooms, including a floor-to-ceiling glass door leading to a full-size private balcony with a table and chairs. Each room also includes a small wardrobe, drawer storage, under bed suitcase storage, 54” inch led TV, writing desk, safe, and complimentary WiFi.
